The Vice-Chancellor of 51动漫 Apostle Professor Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua has implored parents to take control of their homes. He made the remark in the light of the Possessing the Nations Agenda of The Church of Pentecost, which is to transform all spheres of society with the principles of the Kingdom of God. 聽He said one of the most potent strategy is for parents to possess their homes, by influencing their children with values and principles of the Kingdom of God. 鈥淲hen we do this, we are not only going to possess the nations of today, but it will help to possess the future as well.鈥� Prof. Agyapong-Kodua added.

The VC made these remarks when he addressed ministerial students of the School of Theology, Mission and Leadership of 51动漫, at the Gomoa Fetteh campus. The meeting which included wives of the ministerial students was meant to throw more light on the Vision 2023 of The Church of Pentecost.

Referencing Obadiah 1:21 the clergyman touched on many spheres of society such as government, family, chieftaincy, the economy, education among others, and how they influence the world.

Narrowing down to the family, Aps Agyapong-Kodua said when we talk about 鈥減ossessing the nations agenda鈥�, the nations here are not only referring to countries like Togo, Benin, Canada and the other nations we know, but our homes can also be our nations, because the people in each homes come together to form a nation, therefore if we are able to possess the homes, we can eventually possess all the nations. 鈥淎 person鈥檚 nations can be his home, so he must have intentional mind of raising the children with the God鈥檚 kingdom values and principles鈥�, he added.

He further explained that if we are able to possess our homes and families, the children will grow and know God, and live their life according to the principles of God. He therefore advised parents who shed some critical parental responsibilities to schools and teachers. He said, 鈥渟ome parents leave the house very early to work and come back home very late, making it difficult to give proper training to the child and as soon to be ministers and wives, speak to parents to have time for their children.鈥�

In making recommendation on how parents can engage their children religiously, he said, parents must have morning devotions with their children, teaching them how to pray, read the bible, meditate and have in-depth knowledge about God. 鈥淚f we train our children these, and possess their minds, when they grow, they will take their stance鈥� he noted, and emphasized that 鈥淟et us pump the minds of God into families and children and we will be victorious鈥�
